Tour Guide aka Theobromination Facilitator

Favourite product: No offense to our exquisitely crafted dark chocolate bars, but... Marshmallow Big Daddies.

"What do you love most about your job at Theo?"

The sweet sound of tour-goers laughing at my “Lucy & Ethel” joke in the confections kitchen, every single time.  Never gets old!

"What inspires you?"

My co-workers.  Remember, there’s no “I” in Theo.  (But there is in hair...)

"What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?"

My hair doesn’t look this awesome naturally--I spend an hour each morning curling it in little pink rollers.

"What food would you drive all day for?"

Occasionally I travel to my home state, New Jersey, for the bagels and pizza.  Er, I mean--to visit my family.  Hi Mom!

"What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about chocolate while working at Theo?"

You can eat all the chocolate you want without gaining any weight!  All you have to do is walk for 6-8 hours per day--giving factory tours, for example, or working in a retail store.

"What’s your earliest chocolate memory?"

When I was younger, every time I got one of those heart-shaped boxes of chocolates--which did not always include a  “map” of the flavors inside--I lived in fear of biting into one with coconut filling.  Today, in our retail store, I put a legend in every custom confections box--whether people ask for one or not.  You’re welcome, kids!

"What’s your favorite eco-tip?"

Burn calories, not oil.
