If you’re anything like us, you’ve got cookies on the brain this time of year. And in a world full of delicious cookies, it can be tough to pick a recipe. Sometimes it’s nice to keep things simple, especially during these next few weeks of festive celebration. Thank goodness we’ve been on a peanut butter and chocolate kick lately here at the factory (although let’s admit it, we’re always on a chocolate kick).
Baby, it's cold outside! During these frozen and dark days, the warmth of the kitchen beckons more strongly than ever. Here at Theo, we’ve been heeding its call and have come up with a few simple and creative ideas that we hope will bring a festive glow to your own kitchen this holiday season. With little more than a bowl full of melted chocolate, we'll show you how you can make tasty and unique chocolate-kissed treats. What's more, we've designed these gift ideas with children in mind, so the whole family can take part (and the results make excellent afternoon treats, to boot).
What better time of year to gather around your kitchen table and create edible gifts to share with your loved ones? Fire up your favorite holiday tunes and let's get dipping!
For the last few years, holiday visitors to the Theo retail store have been enchanted by the pretty 3D paper snowflakes we have hanging from our ceiling. In fact, people love them so much that we're regularly asked where we got them! Well, the truth is, we make them ourselves each and every year. In fact, here at Theo, we’re such big fans of these pretty paper snowflakes that you can find them hanging in our offices and even decorating our homes!
With the flavors of cherries, pistachios and chocolate, spumoni is a beloved frozen treat that sparks feelings of nostalgia in those of us who enjoyed as kids. We are of the firm belief that proper spumoni should contain bits of fruit and nuts, lest the ice cream venture into Neapolitan territory. Think of these cookies as grown-up versions of the quintessential Italian dessert just right for sharing during the holidays.
Cookies are all about sharing. If we could, we’d host a good old fashioned cookie swap and invite all of you to share your time-tested family recipes with us. Luckily, we have the Internet!
Our peppermint ganache thumbprint cookies offer a new spin on a holiday classic. We can’t think of a better way to put our Peppermint Stick holiday bar to good use, with the exception of eating it straight from the wrapper. These cookies are sure to impress at any gathering and make gorgeous hostess gifts.
